Has Linda Hunnicutt lied or made misleading statements about the "Freedom County" project?

Welcome to Freedom County Sentinel, a web site committed to compiling and delivering research and news about the Freedom County project in Texas and its directors. Whether you are a potential investor in the project -- or someone who has already invested -- we feel you deserve to fully understand with whom and with what you are involving yourself. We hope to inspire you to do your own due diligence.

For the record, we support most -- if not all -- the ideals of the Freedom County project as advertised (e.g. rural living with "like-minded people who believe in freedom", being subjected to minimal government interference, growing clean food, living off-grid and/or with energy efficiency, "no maintenance assessments or association fees"). Having paid to lease lots at the Freedom Ranch property and observed operations first-hand, however, it is difficult to assess just how many (or how few) of these ideals will actually be put into practice by the community and its leadership.

We further believe that integrity is essential to the freedom activism movement. If we avow to root out corruption and dishonesty in government, should we not also shine a spotlight on these issues within our own circles?
